Why we needed a refrigeration module
A large number of people use our company's contactless pickup points to hand over food products. Often, this simply isn't possible without a refrigerator on hand. We solved this problem: we created a refrigeration module.
This equipment is most relevant for restaurants, supermarkets, and other companies that deal with food products.
Stages of developing the refrigeration module
The process of developing the refrigeration module consisted of 4 stages.
1. We spent some time developing the concept for how the refrigerated storage locker would work. This was our first time working with "cold," and our specialists handled the task very well.
2. Next, we achieved even temperature distribution throughout the cabinet (initially there were swings from -10 to +10 degrees). These temperature swings within one and the same module were the main difficulty at the start: if one part of the cabinet is colder and another warmer, some of the products inevitably end up stored outside the conditions the module was designed for.
3. The next stage was insulating the module.
4. Finally, we brought all the finished solutions together into a single project and ended up with a properly functioning module. The device was handed off to production.
What this means for retail
Retail operators, supermarkets, and stores can now hand over customers' online orders contactlessly through MVK MASH's refrigerated automatic storage lockers. This way, businesses can adapt to new realities and discover new opportunities for themselves.
