Developing safety measures during COVID-19
As soon as the world was hit by COVID-19, our company started developing safety measures that could help counter the viral threat. We set ourselves the goal of reducing the risk of the disease spreading and making automatic storage lockers as safe as possible.
The result of our work exceeded expectations: the MVK MASH team studied the fundamentals of how the virus spreads, managed to find germicidal lamps that operate at a specific frequency, and integrated them into the storage locker cells.
How disinfection inside the cell works
We're well aware that countless harmful bacteria and viruses build up on shopping bags, groceries, and personal belongings. Now, thanks to the germicidal lamps inside the cells of the automatic storage lockers, bacteria and viruses are destroyed, including COVID-19. It only takes placing items in a cell with a germicidal lamp for 3 minutes for the contents to be fully disinfected. This eliminates the risk of the virus being transmitted through groceries and personal belongings.
